Click the Button Tier List
Rank Steam ticks and systems — not invented skill names or a 200-hour S-tier.
How this list is allowed to work
A tier list that ranks unpublished item names is fiction. This one ranks what blocks 100% in Click the Button after the 26 August 2026 launch. LoopCap, Windows, Godot, ~300 MB, $3.99 / ~$3.39 at 15% off, Overwhelmingly Positive, 500+ reviews. Typical campaign 70–120 minutes. Extra 1–2 hours for 1,000 of each item and golden cuties. S-tier means “do this or Steam stays empty,” not a fan nickname for a tree node.
S — blocks the evening
- Clicking the button with the sim running. Chests, money, stacks. Close gacha when you are not rolling; it pauses the world.
- Discover-all rarities in order: Broken, Nice, Expensive, Robust, Nocturnal, Extraterrestrial (common → mythical). Official Collection achievements. Collections.
- Max the skill tree. Our Constellation. Larger than the Demo. No fan titles. Skill tree.
- Merge on the full client. Players thanked it for stopping Demo rebirth-after-many-chests crashes. Rebirth.
- Every chest type × 1,000 (Dungeon Master!) and 1,000 of each item (Born Collector!). Duplicates are S-tier content. Old lists that said extras were worthless were wrong.
A — full-game side checklist
- Ordinary gacha cuties (They’re So Cute!) then goldens (At Last, All of Them). Two lists. Short visits.
- Hybrid spend click-side + idle-side in a 70–120 minute window. Best build.
- Human CPS. Enough. CPS test. Autoclickers are F-tier because they crash.
B — useful, not the mountain
- Button/background cosmetics in the full base game. Pretty, not a tick.
- Supporter Pack ($1.99, six exclusive appearances + custom scenario). Tip jar. Not pay-to-win.
- Keyboard-only play. Accessibility S for some hands, B for power. Controls.
- Demo (4805850). Very Positive, some ~40 minute clears. B as a taste. F as a 100% plan. Demo vs Full.
C — optional or unknown
- Prestige/rebirth in a campaign that is already short. Usually skip unless the UI gates you. Crashy on Demo chest binges.
- The Prince and the Button. No public description. Not a fan combo. C because we cannot rank a hidden.
- Steam Deck. Unlisted here. Not a tier, a question mark. System requirements.
F — do not
- Promo codes. There are none. Codes.
- Autoclickers. Crash. Troubleshooting.
- Ghost-chest farming. Bugs.
- Invented skill names as a build.
- Planning 50–200 hours.
- Leaving gacha open while you “idle.”
- Buying DLC to skip Born Collector.
How to use the list
Play S until Steam overlay is almost done. Sprinkle A. Ignore F. 100% completion is the same ranking as a script. Best items is the same ranking as a missing-checkbox list. The embedded clip is vibe, not a loot table.
This hub’s last job is to kill the old S/A/B/C item encyclopedia that named skills LoopCap never shipped. Rank the ticks. Play the evening. Leave. That is a tier list that matches an Overwhelmingly Positive $3.99 clicker instead of a copied 400-word “placements may change with patches” boilerplate.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions about the game.
Why aren’t individual items named in S-tier?
This wiki does not invent official item names. S-tier is whatever unique or stack still blocks a Steam achievement on your save.
Does play style change the list?
Slightly lean click-side or idle-side, but Our Constellation still wants the whole tree. Gacha must be closed for idle-side to exist.
Will patches reshuffle tiers?
If LoopCap publishes real numbers, placements can move. Until then this list ranks systems and official ticks.
Is the Supporter Pack S-tier?
No. Cosmetic B. Six button appearances and a custom scenario. $1.99.
Are autoclickers S-tier for CPS?
No. They can crash the game. F.
