Click the Button 100% Completion Route
A practical order for all 15 Steam achievements in a campaign that usually lasts 70–120 minutes.
What 100% means in this game
Click the Button is small on purpose. LoopCap released it on Steam for Windows on 26 August 2026 (announced 21 August, then delayed). The store lists about 300 MB, Godot, $3.99 USD ($3.39 at the launch 15% off). Reviews sat Overwhelmingly Positive with 500+ scores. Most people 100% the main loop in about 70–120 minutes. Some stay 2–4 hours for leftover collection, gacha goldens, or slower clicking. Plan for a single focused evening, not a season pass.
Steam tracks 15 achievements. This route uses the official Steam text only. It does not invent skill names, item names, or a Prince questline. If Steam hides a description, we say so.
There are no promo codes. Steam Cloud is not listed. Single-player, local save. If you care about a clean 100%, do not experiment with file wipes mid-run.
Click milestones first (they will finish themselves)
Three achievements are pure click counts:
- Just the Beginning! — Click 100 times
- Getting the Hang of It! — Click 1,000 times
- Hands on Fire! — Click 10,000 times
On a completionist path you will pass 10,000 clicks while chasing 1,000 of each item and 1,000 opens of each chest type. Do not sit on the title screen grinding clicks in isolation unless you are testing input (see the CPS test). Every productive click should still open content: chests, upgrades, or a short gacha visit.
Hands on Fire at 10,000 looks large until you remember Dungeon Master! wants every chest opened at least 1,000 times and Born Collector! wants 1,000 or more of each item. Duplicates are the real clock, not the 10,000-click badge.
Rarity sets in order
Six achievements map onto the six rarities (Steam labels in parentheses):
- Broken Collection — Discover all common items (Broken)
- Nice Collection — Discover all uncommon items (Nice)
- Expensive Collection — Discover all rare items (Expensive)
- Robust Collection — Discover all epic items (Robust)
- Nocturnal Collection — Discover all legendary items (Nocturnal)
- Extraterrestrial Collection — Discover all mythical items (Extraterrestrial)
Work them in that order because that is how the drop table feels during a first campaign: commons arrive while you are still learning the button, mythicals arrive when the tree and income are larger. “Discover all” is a unique-check, not a stack-check. You can unlock Extraterrestrial Collection long before Born Collector, which still wants 1,000 copies of everything.
Use the collections guide for rarity context. Do not stall on a single missing mythical while ignoring the skill tree; Our Constellation wants all upgrades in the skill tree maximized, and a bigger tree is one of the things the full game added versus the Demo.
If a unique will not drop, keep clicking chests rather than opening gacha for twenty minutes. Gacha pauses the sim. A paused sim does not discover chest items.
Gacha, then goldens
The full release added the machine. Demo time does not replace this block.
- They’re So Cute! — Collect all the cuties from the gacha machine
- At Last, All of Them — Collect all cuties in golden version
Finish the ordinary cutie set before you obsess over goldens unless goldens are already appearing. Steam treats them as two lists. Details, including the pause-while-open complaint, live on the gacha page. In a 70–120 minute 100%, gacha is a series of short visits, not an overnight banner.
Do not buy the Supporter Pack expecting it to complete cuties. The $1.99 DLC is six exclusive button appearances plus designing your own scenario. Cosmetic. Not a skip ticket.
Maximize the skill tree, then the 1,000-count pair
- Our Constellation — Maximize all upgrades in the skill tree
Buy through every branch the UI shows. This wiki will not invent official skill titles. If a node is still locked, it is not maximized. Full game means a larger tree than the Demo; do not assume a Demo screenshot is the whole constellation.
- Dungeon Master! — Open every chest at least 1,000 times
- Born Collector! — Have 1,000 or more of each item
These two are why some people go past two hours. They also make Hands on Fire automatic. Count chest types for Dungeon Master and item types for Born Collector. Ghost chests that players mention are bug reports, not a type you should try to log. If a chest type is not advancing, stop using autoclickers (they can crash) and see troubleshooting.
Born Collector is the duplicate rule in achievement form. Unique completion of a rarity set is not enough. Keep generating the items you already “finished” as discoveries until stacks hit 1,000.
Launch’s merge upgrade is the change Demo players thanked for stopping crashy rebirth-after-many-chests behaviour. You do not need a prestige table to 100% in one sitting. Prefer not to rebirth on a 100% save unless the live prompt is unambiguous. See rebirth.
The hidden Prince
- The Prince and the Button — no public Steam description (likely hidden)
We will not invent a boss, a cutscene, or a gacha combination. Play the rest of the list. If it unlocks, Steam will say so. If it does not, that is a documentation gap, not a missing paragraph on this page. Check the overlay after you finish cuties, goldens, the tree, and the 1,000-count goals. Mail [email protected] only if you believe the achievement is stuck, not to ask this wiki to spoiler a hidden description we do not have.
A compact session script
- Click. Hit 100 and 1,000 without thinking about them.
- Spend into the skill tree whenever the next node is affordable. Leave no branch unfinished.
- Push rarity uniques Broken → Extraterrestrial. Track Steam, not memory.
- Insert short gacha sessions. Close the machine so the sim runs. Ordinary cuties, then goldens.
- Keep opening every chest type toward 1,000. Keep stacking every item toward 1,000.
- Pass 10,000 clicks on the way.
- Glance at The Prince and the Button last.
Skip autoclickers. Skip codes. Skip assuming Steam Cloud will bail you out. If fullscreen or crash issues eat the clock, fix those on controls and troubleshooting before you start a timed 100% attempt.
The no-commentary walkthrough embedded on this page is a look at the live loop, not a substitute for Steam’s achievement text. Use it to see pacing. Use this checklist to finish.
A 100% here is a short, dense list: fifteen ticks, six rarities, a paused-when-open machine, a larger tree than the Demo, and two 1,000-count grinds that respect duplicates. That is the whole mountain. It is not a 200-hour collection MMO, and this route will not pretend it is.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions about the game.
How long does a real 100% take?
Most players finish the main loop in about 70–120 minutes. Collection, goldens, and the 1,000-count goals can stretch a session to two to four hours.
Should I grind 10,000 clicks before touching collections?
No. Hands on Fire completes naturally while you work Dungeon Master and Born Collector. Spend clicks on chests and upgrades.
Does finishing a rarity set finish Born Collector?
No. Rarity achievements are discover-all. Born Collector requires 1,000 or more of each item. Duplicates matter.
How do I unlock The Prince and the Button?
Steam does not publish a description. It is likely hidden. This wiki will not invent the condition.
Can I 100% in the Demo?
No. The full game added gacha, new upgrades, new items, and a larger skill tree. Plan 100% on app 3946950.
