Click the Button Update Logs

26 August 2026 — launch

Click the Button shipped on 26 August 2026 after LoopCap announced 21 August and delayed. Windows, Godot, 300 MB, $3.99 USD ($3.39 with ~15% off). Overwhelmingly Positive, 500+ reviews. Typical 100% 70–120 minutes. Extra 1,000-of-each and golden cuties +1–2 hours. This page will not invent version numbers LoopCap has not posted in a public note we can quote. It will record what players and the store actually established at launch, then tell you where patches should land.

Launch content versus Demo (4805850). The paid app (3946950) added gacha, new upgrades, new items, a larger skill tree, button/background cosmetics, and a merge upgrade. Demo is Very Positive; some people finish it in ~40 minutes. Demo rebirth after opening a large number of chests could crash. Players thanked merge for stopping that pattern in the full client. Rebirth, Demo vs Full.

DLC the same window. Supporter Pack (5110650) $1.99: six exclusive button appearances + design your own scenario. Cosmetic. Not a patch, not a crashfix.

Issues that are “current” until a note says otherwise

  • Gacha pauses the sim while open. Design/feel complaint. Close the machine. Gacha.
  • Autoclickers can crash. Not a strategy. Troubleshooting.
  • Ghost chests reported. Bugs, not a type. Do not farm them.
  • Demo fullscreen 1280×720 image in the corner. Play windowed. Controls.
  • No promo codes. Codes.
  • Steam Cloud not listed. Local saves. Save anytime.
  • Steam Deck not officially confirmed here. System requirements.

When LoopCap patches any of the above, this page should gain a dated bullet with the store/news wording — not a fan reconstruction. Until then, treat the list as launch-era fact, not as a live-ops calendar.

How to read a future patch

This is a small Overwhelmingly Positive clicker, not a weekly season. Expect bugfixes and QoL more than a new 50-hour branch. If a patch retunes merge, gacha pause, or rebirth, re-read how to make money and 100% completion after you verify the note. Do not keep using Demo crash threads as if they were 3946950 gospel.

If a patch adds skill titles, this wiki may start quoting them. Until then, do not invent names. Skill tree.

Feedback

Email [email protected] with app ID (4805850 vs 3946950 vs DLC 5110650), Windows version, fullscreen vs windowed, autoclicker yes/no, rebirth/merge/gacha open at failure, approximate chest count on Demo prestige crashes. Polite, reproducible, short. Troubleshooting is the template.

Check the in-game version string if the UI shows one, and match it to Steam’s build. This wiki is fan-run; official text lives on the store and in LoopCap’s mail.

Launch was a delayed handful of days, a 15% haircut, a merge that people treated as a stability patch wearing an upgrade hat, and a pile of Overwhelmingly Positive short-campaign reviews. That is the update log until the next real note. It ends without a 400-word “patch philosophy” essay copied from every live-service wiki this template ever forked.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions about the game.

Does Click the Button get weekly updates?

It is a small paid incremental, not a live-service. Launch established merge, gacha, and the full tree. Further notes will appear here when LoopCap publishes them.

Where do I send a bug?

[email protected] with Demo vs full app ID, resolution, and whether autoclicker, rebirth, merge, or gacha was involved.

Did launch fix the Demo rebirth crash?

Players thanked the launch merge upgrade for stopping Demo-style rebirth-after-many-chests crashes. Report remaining full-game crashes as new bugs.

Will a patch add promo codes?

None exist now. If that changes, the Codes hub will say so. Do not trust random lists.

Did the price change after launch?

List is $3.99 USD. Launch showed about 15% off ($3.39). Later sales are possible; this page will not invent dates.
