Click the Button Skill Tree
Read the UI. Max every node. Do not memorize fan-made skill titles.
How to look at the tree without fan names
Open the skill tree in Click the Button and treat it as a map of effects, not a list of wiki nicknames. LoopCap has not asked this site to publish official node titles, so we will not mint fan nicknames or capstone fantasy names. If your client prints a label, that label wins. If it does not, describe what the node does: more pay per click, more pay on the clock, easier collection, quality-of-life, or merge.
The achievement that cares is Our Constellation: maximize all upgrades in the skill tree. Grey nodes are not maximized. Locked nodes are not maximized. A Demo screenshot is not maximized. The full release (app 3946950, 26 August 2026, $3.99 / ~$3.39 at 15% off) added a larger skill tree plus new upgrades, new items, gacha, cosmetics, and merge. Overwhelmingly Positive, 500+ reviews. Typical 100% 70–120 minutes. Extra 1,000-count goals 1–2 hours more.
Branches by effect (not by invented titles)
Click-side. Nodes that make each press worth more, or make pressing more comfortable as a source of chests. These matter while you are at the desk. They do not replace Hands on Fire! (10,000 clicks); they make those clicks produce money and items on the way.
Idle-side. Nodes that pay when you are not mashing. They earn zero while gacha is open, because players report the machine pauses the sim. Close the machine. Idle-side is why you can read this page without going broke, not why you should AFK for 200 hours — the product is not that long.
Collection-adjacent. Anything that helps chests, rarities, or completion feel less painful. We will not claim unpublished drop-rate numbers. If a node’s tooltip mentions luck, chests, or sets, it belongs in this mental bucket. Born Collector! still wants 1,000 of each item; a tree node does not delete that arithmetic.
Merge. Launch content. Demo players reported rebirth crashes after opening a large number of chests. The community thanked merge for stopping that pattern in the paid build. Put merge in the buy list. Prestige details: rebirth. Crashes: troubleshooting.
Everything else the UI shows. Buy it. Our Constellation does not say “max the good ones.” It says all upgrades in the skill tree.
Prerequisites and order
The client marks what must be owned first. Follow those arrows. You can usually bounce between click-side and idle-side. A 70–120 minute campaign punishes hoarding. Best build is an evening sequence. How to make money is why the wallet exists.
No published respec. No promo codes to refund a node. No listed Steam Cloud. Save anytime locally. Keyboard-only is fine. Autoclickers can crash; they are not a hidden tree mechanic. Ghost chests are not skill unlocks.
What the tree is not
Not gacha. Cuties are They’re So Cute! and At Last, All of Them. Not the six rarities (Broken through Extraterrestrial). Not the Supporter Pack skins. Not The Prince and the Button — no public description, do not invent a tree combination.
Demo 4805850 (Very Positive, some ~40 minute clears) is the wrong constellation for 100%. Demo vs Full. Controls if you cannot see the tree because fullscreen is a 1280×720 stamp.
When every node is bought, Steam should be willing to grant Our Constellation. If it does not, verify you are on the full app, that gacha is closed, and that you are not looking at a Demo save. Then write [email protected] with version notes — not a request for this wiki to name the last node for you.
The skill tree is a constellation you turn off (max) in one sitting. Read it. Buy it. Do not study a fan encyclopedia of titles that never shipped. That is the entire reading-the-UI guide, and it ends without a recycled paragraph about “three branches of twenty skills across fifty hours.”
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions about the game.
Do I have to unlock nodes in a fixed order?
Follow in-game arrows and locks. You can usually move between click-side and idle-side freely. The client is authoritative.
Is there a reason to skip a node?
Our Constellation wants the whole tree maximized. Skipping is how you miss the achievement in a 1–2 hour campaign.
Where are the official skill names?
In the game UI, if they exist. This wiki will not invent them.
Does merge count as part of the tree?
Treat merge as launch upgrade content you should buy. If it sits in the tree UI, it must be maximized for Our Constellation.
Can the Demo max the full constellation?
No. The full game added a larger skill tree. Plan Our Constellation on app 3946950.
