Click the Button Items Hub

Rarity bands, stacks, and what chests versus gacha actually collect.

Items Hub

Items in Click the Button are what chests drop while you chase a short Steam campaign. LoopCap released the game on 26 August 2026 for Windows (Godot, about 300 MB, $3.99 USD list, around $3.39 at the launch 15% off). Reviews sat Overwhelmingly Positive with 500+ scores. Most players 100% in 70–120 minutes. Extra goals — 1,000 of each item and golden gacha cuties — add about 1–2 hours. This hub will not invent a 100-item spreadsheet, fake item proper nouns, or a “duplicates do nothing” rule. Steam already told us the opposite.

Use Collections for the six rarity bands and their Steam labels. Use Best Items when you want a “what should I care about in a two-hour run” argument that does not pretend we have LoopCap’s tooltip database. Chests themselves are documented on Chests Explained. Cuties from the machine are not chest items; they live on gacha.

Six rarities, two kinds of completion

LoopCap’s names map onto Steam’s rarity labels:

  • Broken = common — Broken Collection: discover all common items
  • Nice = uncommon — Nice Collection: discover all uncommon items
  • Expensive = rare — Expensive Collection: discover all rare items
  • Robust = epic — Robust Collection: discover all epic items
  • Nocturnal = legendary — Nocturnal Collection: discover all legendary items
  • Extraterrestrial = mythical — Extraterrestrial Collection: discover all mythical items

Discover-all is a unique check. Born Collector! is a stack check: 1,000 or more of each item. You can finish Extraterrestrial Collection and still be grinding copies. Old pages that said extras were worthless were wrong. Duplicates are the extra hour, not trash.

Dungeon Master! still counts chest types opened 1,000 times. Do not mix type counters, unique counters, and stack counters. Ghost chests are bug reports; see troubleshooting.

Where items do not come from

Not from promo codes — there are none (codes). Not from the $1.99 Supporter Pack (six exclusive button appearances and a custom scenario). Not from a paused gacha window. The machine pauses the sim; chest items do not cook in the background while it is open.

The Demo (app 4805850, Very Positive, some ~40 minute clears) is a slice of clicking and chests. The full game (3946950) added new items, gacha, new upgrades, a larger skill tree, cosmetics, and merge. Item 100% belongs on the full client. Steam Cloud is not listed; item counts live in the local save. Save anytime, copy the file yourself if you need a backup.

How to use this hub in an evening

Click chests. Watch Steam for the six discover-all ticks. Keep generating copies toward Born Collector. Spend the skill tree so volume stays comfortable — how to make money — without inventing node names. Insert short gacha visits for cuties, then close the UI. Skip autoclickers; they can crash. Skip Demo prestige after a chest binge; rebirth explains why merge mattered at launch.

If a unique will not appear, the answer is more chests with the sim running, not a ritual. If stacks stall, the answer is volume plus a live process, not a downloaded loot table. 100% completion is the ordered list. Controls if the picture is a 1280×720 stamp in the corner.

This hub exists so rarity, stacks, and cuties do not collapse into one mental bucket. Chest items have six names. Cuties have two Steam ticks. Button skins from DLC have zero ticks. Keep those buckets separate and a 70–120 minute campaign stays honest instead of turning into a fake 200-hour collection MMO.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions about the game.

Do duplicate items matter?

Yes. Born Collector requires 1,000 or more of each item. Discovering a rarity set is a different achievement.

Are gacha cuties part of the six rarities?

No. Cuties come from the gacha machine and have their own achievements. Chest items use Broken through Extraterrestrial.

Can I trade or buy items?

No. Single-player, no codes, no cash shop. The Supporter Pack is cosmetic DLC, not an item crate.

Does the Demo include every item?

The full release added new items. Plan collection 100% on the paid app (3946950).

What are ghost chests?

Community bug reports, not a rarity. See Troubleshooting if a chest type counter will not move.
