Official minimum (Windows)

Click the Button is a Godot client of about 300 MB. LoopCap lists it for Windows. Steam’s published minimums:

• OS: Windows 10
• Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 or AMD Phenom II X2 550
• Memory: 4 GB RAM
• Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT, 512 MB or AMD Radeon HD 7570, 1 GB
• Storage: 300 MB available space

The store has not published a separate “recommended” sheet. For a $3.99 incremental that most people 100% in 70–120 minutes (extra stacks/goldens 1–2 hours), those minimums are the whole hardware story. Overwhelmingly Positive, 500+ reviews, launched 26 August 2026. You do not need a 2026 GPU to click a button.

Input and save features that matter more than GPU

Steam lists keyboard-only as an option. You can play without a gaming mouse. Discrete presses, not a turbo macro — autoclickers can crash the game. Measure human speed on the CPS test if you want a number. Comfort and the Demo 1280×720 fullscreen-in-the-corner report live on controls.

Save anytime. Steam Cloud is not listed on the store. Treat the save as a local Windows file. Copy it yourself if you switch PCs. No promo codes restore a deleted save (codes).

Camera comfort, custom volume, playable without timed input: store tags, not extra downloads.

Steam Deck and Linux

Steam Deck compatibility is not officially confirmed in materials this wiki trusts. Community Proton reports can appear later; they are not a LoopCap badge. Until the store says Verified, treat Deck as unknown: maybe trackpads click fine, maybe fullscreen inherits Demo corner bugs, maybe a turbo-bind crashes like an autoclicker. Troubleshooting.

Native Linux is not the published SKU. Windows 10 is. Do not buy expecting an official Deck dock experience.

Demo, full, DLC on the same machine

Demo 4805850 (Very Positive, some ~40 minute clears) and full 3946950 share the light footprint. Full adds gacha, new upgrades, new items, larger skill tree, cosmetics, merge — not a new engine. Supporter Pack (5110650, $1.99) is extra depot cosmetics: six button appearances and a custom scenario. It does not raise CPU need. It does not add Cloud.

If the picture is wrong and the machine exceeds 2009-era minimums, it is likely a display path, not missing VRAM. Play windowed. Do not download random Attributes.tres packs from strangers.

Performance in a two-hour clicker

Stutter during a click storm is more often overlay + CPU scheduling than the 8800 GT line. Disable Discord/GPU overlays one at a time. Close gacha when you are not rolling; a paused sim can feel like a hang. Ghost chests are logic bugs, not GPU bugs.

Install through Steam. No extra runtimes beyond what Steam already uses for Godot titles. No always-on server. Single-player.

If you came here to ask “can a laptop run it?” — yes, if it can run Windows 10 and spare 300 MB. If you came here to ask “will Deck be Verified tomorrow?” — this page will not invent that stamp. Launch the Demo for forty minutes if you still doubt the loop, then buy the full evening. Hardware was never the gate. The gate is whether you want to click a button for 70–120 minutes, and that question belongs on the review, not on a phantom recommended-spec table.
